Last Updated: October 27, 2025

1. Introduction

Apeironix Inc. (“Apeironix,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) believes in transparency about the collection and use of your personal data. This Cookie Policy explains how and when we use cookies, web beacons, pixel tags, and similar technologies (“Cookies”) to collect and store information when you visit our website (www.apeironix.com), interact with our AI Insurance Automation Platform (the “Platform” or “Services”), or engage with services we offer to our partners, such as analytics or advertising services. These processes are designed to enhance your user experience and improve the overall quality of our Services to end-users. This Cookie Policy supplements our general Privacy Policy, CCPA Privacy Policy (www.apeironix.com/legal/ccpa-policy), and, for enterprise customers, the Apeironix Master Services Agreement (MSA) and Data Processing Addendum (Exhibit C). The purpose of this Policy is to ensure proper, effective, legal, and regulatory-compliant use of Cookies enterprise-wide to protect the confidentiality, integrity, availability, and privacy of personal data. Please read this Policy carefully before using our Services.

2. How We Use Cookies.

Apeironix uses Cookies for a variety of reasons detailed below, aimed at improving access, use, and security of our website and Services while ensuring compliance with Applicable Laws.

What is a Cookie? Cookies are small pieces of data stored on your device (e.g., computer, smartphone, tablet) when you visit a website or use an online service. They help us recognize your browser or device, improve user experience, and enhance security. Cookies may also make interactions faster and more secure.

How Does Apeironix Use Cookies? We use “first-party Cookies,” set by Apeironix, for analytics, to remember login information, and to support security features while you browse our website or use our Services. We also use “third-party Cookies,” set by our service providers or partners, which may collect personal data about you over time and across different websites when you use our Services. Some Cookies are unique to your account or browser, enabling personalized features, while others are not tied to your account but allow analytics and customization. “Session Cookies” last only while your browser is open and are deleted when you close it. “Persistent Cookies” remain until you or your browser delete them or until their preset expiration date (e.g., up to 12 months). For enterprise customers, Cookie usage related to Customer Content is governed by the MSA (Section 4: Data Ownership and Protection) and DPA (Exhibit C).

How Are Cookies Used for Advertising Purposes? Cookies and other technologies, such as web beacons, help Apeironix and our partners deliver targeted marketing to users who may be interested in our Services. These technologies support aggregated auditing, research, and reporting for advertising campaigns. For more details, see our CCPA Privacy Policy (Section 3: How We Use Your Information) and general Privacy Policy.

3. Categories of Cookies We Use

We use the following categories of Cookies:

  • Essential Cookies: These Cookies are necessary for the website and Platform to function, enabling features like account login, session management, secure transactions, and interaction with our Cookie Preferences Banner, forms, or authentication processes. These Cookies cannot be disabled.

  • Performance Cookies: These Cookies allow us to count visits and traffic sources to measure and improve the performance of our website and Services. They help us understand which pages or features (e.g., policy data extraction, automation modules) are most/least popular and how users navigate the Platform. We use these for analytics, product improvement, and research (see MSA Section 4.2: Machine Learning).

  • Functional Cookies: These Cookies enable enhanced functionality and personalization, such as remembering your language preferences, communication settings, or customized content (e.g., tailored dashboard insights). They may be set by us or third-party providers whose services we integrate.

  • Marketing Cookies: These Cookies help deliver and track marketing campaigns, such as ads displayed on our website or third-party sites. Our partners may use Cookies to provide information about your interactions with their services, enabling relevant advertisements across websites.

The Cookie Preferences Banner, displayed at the bottom of your screen when accessing www.apeironix.com, captures your consent for non-essential Cookies (Performance, Functional, Marketing) and requests periodic consent to ensure you stay updated with changes to this Policy or our Privacy Policy. Essential Cookies are always active and cannot be disabled. See Section 4 for how to manage non-essential Cookies.

4. Disabling Cookies.

You may withdraw consent for non-essential Cookies at any time by selecting the “Reject All” button in the Cookie Preferences Banner or by selecting the “Manage Cookies” option on our website to configure preferences for Performance, Functional, and Marketing Cookies. Disabling non-essential Cookies may impact certain functionality and features of the website or Services, such as personalized dashboards or analytics-driven insights. You can also manage Cookies via your browser settings to accept, reject, or delete them, but disabling Essential Cookies may prevent access to core Service features.

Does Apeironix Respond to Do Not Track Signals? Our website does not currently respond to browser “Do Not Track” signals for non-essential Cookies.

Does Apeironix Respond to Global Privacy Control Signals? Our website responds to Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals, disabling non-essential Cookies (Performance, Functional, Marketing) where supported, in compliance with CCPA requirements.

5. We May Update This Policy.

Apeironix may update this Cookie Policy from time to time as permitted by law, with or without notice, to reflect changes in our practices or legal requirements. Updates will be posted at www.apeironix.com/legal/cookie-policy, and we will change the “Last Updated” date. Where required by Applicable Laws (e.g., CCPA, PIPEDA), we will notify you of material changes via email or the Platform, particularly if we change how Cookies collect data. Your continued use of our Services after notification constitutes acceptance of the updated Cookie Policy. Please review our website and policies frequently to stay informed about how we use your personal data.

6. Compliance with Laws.

We comply with Applicable Laws, including CCPA and PIPEDA, in our use of Cookies. Enterprise customers’ Cookie usage complies with the MSA (Section 4) and DPA (Exhibit C). You are responsible for complying with Applicable Laws when using our Services, including obtaining necessary consents for any Personal Information you submit (MSA Section 3.3). Any taxes or fees associated with data processing are your responsibility, and Apeironix is not liable for withholding or remitting taxes on your behalf.

7. Limitation of Liability.

Apeironix is not responsible for damages or losses arising from your interaction with Cookies or third-party services, subject to the liability limits in MSA Section 9. For enterprise customers, liability is further governed by the MSA and DPA.

8. Governing Law.

This Policy is governed by the laws of the State of Nevada, without regard to its conflict of law principles, consistent with MSA Section 13.3.

9. Retention.

Cookies are retained only as long as necessary for their purpose (e.g., session Cookies expire when you close your browser; persistent Cookies may last up to 12 months). Usage Data from Cookies may be retained in aggregated/de-identified form for analytics or ML Improvements (MSA Section 4.2). For enterprise customers, Customer Content retention is governed by MSA Section 2.4(c) and Section 4.6.

10. Electronic Notices and Communications.

You consent to receive any agreements, notices, disclosures, and other communications (collectively, “Notices”) from Apeironix electronically, including via email or by posting on the Platform or website. You agree that all Notices we provide to you electronically satisfy any legal requirement that such communications be in writing. You are responsible for maintaining a valid email address and ensuring delivery of Notices. Unless otherwise specified, Notices will be deemed given when sent by email or posted online.

11. No Agency or Employment Relationship.

Nothing in this Cookie Policy creates any agency, partnership, joint venture, employer-employee, or franchisor-franchisee relationship between you and Apeironix. You are not authorized to act on behalf of Apeironix or bind Apeironix to any obligation.
