(“Apeironix,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) is an organization providing an AI Insurance Automation Platform that streamlines workflows for brokers, agencies, and carriers through features like policy data extraction, automated renewals, commission reconciliation, and comparative rating. This Privacy Policy describes our privacy practices for information collected on any website where this Policy is posted by Apeironix, when you use our AI Insurance Automation Platform (the “Platform” or “Services”), or interact with our services. Please read it carefully. By using our website or Services, you accept this Privacy Policy.

This Policy supplements our CCPA Privacy Policy (for California residents at www.apeironix.com/legal/ccpa-policy), Cookie Policy , and, for enterprise customers, the Apeironix Master Services Agreement (MSA) and Data Processing Addendum (Exhibit C). This Policy applies to users in the United States and Canada, as Apeironix does not currently operate outside these jurisdictions.
We collect Personal Data (any information that identifies, relates to, describes, or is reasonably capable of being associated with you) when you interact with our Services. This includes:

You consent to receive any agreements, notices, disclosures, and other communications (collectively, “Notices”) from Apeironix electronically, including via email or by posting on the Platform or website. You agree that all Notices we provide to you electronically satisfy any legal requirement that such communications be in writing. You are responsible for maintaining a valid email address and ensuring delivery of Notices. Unless otherwise specified, Notices will be deemed given when sent by email or posted online.
Nothing in this Privacy Policy creates any agency, partnership, joint venture, employer-employee, or franchisor-franchisee relationship between you and Apeironix. You are not authorized to act on behalf of Apeironix or bind Apeironix to any obligation.

You may opt in to receive text messages, pre-recorded voice messages, or auto-dialed phone calls from Apeironix, its affiliates and related entities, as well as third parties. We may use these messages to authenticate your identity or mobile device, provide you with updates about Services or products you may have requested. You may also receive automated phone calls and text marketing messages from Apeironix to promote our products and Services.
In providing your mobile device number or cell phone number to Apeironix, you knowingly consent to receiving such communications from Apeironix and for Apeironix to use your cell phone number or mobile device number.
You represent that you have the authority to agree to receive text messages at the telephone number that you provide to Apeironix, or from which you sent the text message request to us. You further acknowledge that:
(a) no purchase is required to opt into this service;
(b) you may opt out at any time by following the instructions provided in our communications to you; and
(c) your receipt of text messages may result in separate charges from your mobile provider.
We will administer our communications to you in accordance with the preferences that you reasonably communicate to us. While we disclose Personal Information with our affiliates, service providers, and as otherwise provided in this Privacy Policy, we will not disclose or provide text messaging originator opt-in data and consent. The information you directly provide to us for us to communicate with you over phone calls or text messages will not be disclosed with any third parties except as otherwise required by Applicable Laws.
What is Apeironix’s Privacy Policy?
You may read the Apeironix Privacy Policy and the CCPA Privacy Policy. Depending on your relationship with us, one or both of these privacy documents may apply to you.
What are my rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act?
You may have the rights of notice, access, correction, deletion, opt-out of sale, sharing, or automated decision-making, limiting the use of your sensitive Personal Information, portability, and non-discrimination. You may find additional information about these rights in our CCPA Privacy Policy referenced above.
What are my rights under Canada’s PIPEDA?
If you are a Canadian resident, you may have rights under the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA), including the right to access, correct, or withdraw consent for the use of your Personal Information. Contact us at legal@apeironix.com to exercise these rights.
Does Apeironix charge a fee to respond to requests under CCPA or PIPEDA?
Generally, no. However, we may charge a reasonable fee for or refuse to act on requests that are manifestly unfounded or excessive, including repetitive requests. If we refuse to act on a request, we will notify you of the reason.
How long will it take to process my request?
We try to verify and complete requests within 45 days under CCPA or 30 days under PIPEDA. In some cases, it may be necessary to extend the time frame. We will notify you if additional time is needed.
Does my Personal Information access report include everything you have about me?
Apeironix strives to provide access to Personal Information about each individual. However, there are some cases where Applicable Laws make exceptions, including those cases where we are required to comply with other Applicable Laws.
What happens when I request that you delete my data?
We process your deletion request in accordance with our legal obligations and related data retention policies.
Please note that, under the CCPA, we are not required to comply with your request to delete your Personal Information if it is necessary for Apeironix to maintain your Personal Information in order to:
(1) Complete the transaction for which the Personal Information was collected…
(2) Help to ensure security and integrity…
(3) Debug to identify and repair errors…
(4) Exercise free speech…
(5) Comply with the California Electronic Communications Privacy Act…
(6) Engage in public or peer-reviewed scientific, historical, or statistical research…
(7) Enable solely internal uses…
(8) Comply with a legal obligation.
Please note that, as permitted under the CCPA and PIPEDA regulations, we may retain your Personal Information in our backup or archived systems until the retention period of those systems expires.
What about deidentified information?
Apeironix may deidentify or aggregate your Personal Information in compliance with the CCPA and PIPEDA. In those instances, we are not obligated to provide access to, correct, or delete this information in response to a request.
How long do you retain the information about my request?
We retain the information relating to your request in accordance with our legal obligations and records retention policies. We will maintain, for a minimum of 24 months, a record of your request, as required under the CCPA and PIPEDA.
How many requests may I make in one year?
You may make two requests to access your Personal Information in a 12-month period under the CCPA. You may make more than two requests; however, we are not required under the CCPA to respond to them. Under PIPEDA, you may make reasonable requests for access, subject to our discretion for excessive requests.
